Parish Jubilee Celebration Weekend
July 16th & 17th

This week we celebrate the Platinum Jubilee year with national and local activities and in our Parish our weekend of fun takes place on Saturday and Sunday, July 16 - 17th. This Parish Weekend involves all three Churches and hopefully as many parishioners as possible, with friends and family. Any monies raised will go to the Ukraine appeals.

On Saturday July 16th, St Mary & St Peter, Tidenham Church, will be decorated with flowers and displays and be open all day. This isn’t a full-scale flower festival, but there will be a tribute to Anne Martin and others of our Parish sadly no longer with us. From 1.00pm we will have music from our Parish musicians and WE ARE ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO SIGN UP FOR A 15-MIN STINT/JAM!! Please phone (01291 623310 or 07809 671955) or email us to be included in the performers. There will be a church history exhibition with a particular focus on Life in Tidenham and Tutshill over the past 70 years. If anyone has photos, memorabilia, news cuttings etc, to contribute to this, please let us know. Richard and Carol Clammer have very kindly agreed to put this together. There will be tea, drinks and cake in the church.

On Sunday July 17th, there will be a lunchtime Parish Picnic at St Luke’s (weather permitting!) with sports and games for the children organised by Emma Durbin and her team.

We end with a Summer Songs of Praise service at St Michael & All Angels, Tidenham Chase, at 6.00pm outdoors, if the weather permits.
